Most inter-player commerce in FoM is carried out by means of a marketing terminal; while players can trade finished items with each other, and items can be transferred between players, market terminals offer an efficient and user-friendly way for players to buy and sell goods.

Any player can place an offer to sell items (raw or finished, but they must be in storage) on the marketing terminal, and any player in the same colony or Earth city can purchase those items, as long as they have enough storage space and money. It is not possible for players to make "bids" or any form of buy offers at this time.
