Gamemasters in FoM are seperated into two categories, Story GMs, and Support GMs, and also come in "Trial" form.

The Story GMs oversee the running of the game's official storyline, and are overseen by the Story Community Manager, [MorpheuS], and the Lead Story GM, Lov.

The Support GMs manage technical support, bugs, glitches, exploits, and various other tasks, and are overseen by the Support Community Manager, Smoker, and the Lead Support GM, Fussi.

GMs -except for the Community Managers- are not paid.
